in vitro	2-D08, a inhibitor of protein SUMOylation, enhances the all-trans retinoic acid (ATRA)-induced expression of key genes involved in differentiation, proliferation, and apoptosis in non-APL AML cells. This compound inhibits sumoylation by preventing transfer of SUMO from the UBC9-SUMO thioester to the substrate.
