in vitro	Royal jelly acid (10H2DA) is a unique fatty acid found specifically in royal jelly and shows various pharmacological activities. With respect to inhibition of innate immune signals, however, 10H2DA shows a quite restricted effect which is dependent upon the stimulation.
in vivo	The Royal jelly acid (10H2DA) concentration that can inhibit innate immune signals is more than a few millimolars, but reaching the effective concentration when administering to the gastrointestinal tract or skin is relatively easy.
