In vitro	Gp91ds-tat, an inhibitor of NOX (NADPH oxidase) 2, can prevented high extracellular glucose (Hi-Glu)/Thiamet G (ThmG)-induced ROS generation.^[2]

In Vivo
In vivo	Gp91ds-tat can attenuate cerebral I/R injury in a rat model of middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) through reducing ROS levels, inhibiting neuronal apoptosis and degeneration, and alleviating BBB damage.^[3]
