ODN 2088 is a potent inhibitory oligonucleotide (INH-ODN) that antagonizes TLR7 and TLR9 signaling by competitively binding the C-terminal fragment of TLR9. ODN 2088 inhibits the release of IFN-α from PBMCs stimulated with TLR7 or TLR9 ligands, and inhibits IL-6 release from TLR7-stimulated cells.
