In Vivo
In Vivo	The bronchoprotective half-life of abediterol in guinea pigs is 47 h for olodaterol. In anaesthetised dogs, olodaterol inhibits acetylcholine-induced bronchoconstriction, with ID40 (dose inhibiting bronchoconstriction by 40%) of 0.180 µg/kg. In parallel, effect on heart rate in dogs is measured, showing a safety index (defined as the ratio of the maximal dose without effect on heart rate and the ID40) of 10.5.^[2]
